Buying Safe Toys This Christmas

Sheesh… Back when I was a kid a toy was a toy. Maybe there was lead in them the whole time and that’s how we ended up voting for a President like George Bush. At any rate, the gig is up and we now know that most of the toys on the shelves were made in China, many of which include surface paint with lead in excess of federal regulations for paint. Keep in mind, these regulations are for paint on WALLS, not for things that children put into their MOUTHS – which makes it even scarier.
 But fear not. There ARE safe toys out there to buy this Christmas if you know where to look. Here are a few resources for you:
